EX Board Info?
Does anyone actually have some info on the EX Board? I've seen little bits and pieces here and there but nothing substantial.

So far Arcana Hearts looks like that most impressive one for it. I mean... Daemon Bride and that Ancient Cline look like they're missing something. Trying too much to look like Blazblue, but I'll give it a try if one of the operators around here throws it in a cab.

Via C7 is so underpowered its' pretty pathetic tbh.
It's a pitty as arcan heart was a tremendous game, but I doubt I'll get this ever:(

Considering AH really impressed me I've had surprisingly little interest in this. Maybe I'm a HD whore already

You gotta love the game cards though... look like GBA carts.
I'm kinda happy I'm not an HD whore yet, I just want the gameplay to be good and I'll be happy. There's a lot of parity in the views on AH2, I wonder if some of those other games can deliver.
The 'home version' does sound promising. I wonder if it'll be more CPS Changer than NeoGeo, though.

I was quoted ¥268.000 for an EX Board with Arcana Heart 2. Is it really worth that?

Re: EX Board Info?
Maybe not. The rental plan sounds intresting i mean if you can rent it at 100GBP a month and its pulling in 170+GBP then i guess its worth it. I know the rental system is in japan but the number i just used were for example so dont even try to correct memufunyo wrote:I was quoted ¥268.000 for an EX Board with Arcana Heart 2. That's a much more reasonable price. I'm not personally interested in buying though.TruthKeeper wrote:You can contact Mr. Satin K. Bhutani if interested in purchasing a USA version kit. They are $1,500 USD and will be on sale in mid october.

I think I will wait 5 years for it to hit $200 or lessand get one myself. Until then I am good playing home ports.mufunyo wrote:That's a much more reasonable price. Re: EX Board Info?
(wiiiise fwom your gwaaaaave!)
Anyone pick up Arcana Heart 2 yet?
I'm considering it since it's not terribly expensive ($1500), then again I don't really want to spend $1500 on a game that won't make at least it's original value back on location.
Also, in case anyone knows... I am guessing this thing uses JVS, so to toss it into a JAMMA cab all I would need is a I/O converter (read: Capcom I/O)?

Re: EX Board Info?
Considering the motherboard has a visible JAMMA edge I'd be very surprised if it required a JVS cabinet. It will require a VGA resolution monitor though...kazuo wrote:Also, in case anyone knows...
